What happens to your class schedule when a “snow” day hits and the University is closed? Or if half your students are absent due to sickness (or a football game)? Will this affect teaching and learning at Auburn University? How can you accommodate these inconveniences without derailing your entire teaching schedule? By leveraging instructional technologies available at Auburn, faculty can create just-in-time alternatives for face-to-face teaching. These alternatives may be recorded lectures students can watch at home, virtual office hours, or online exams. This workshop, hosted by Biggio Center Instructional Technology Specialists, will explore these just-in-time alternatives and how to use them effectively when the time comes.
