What are we doing to "Become" the Beloved Community? Day 2: Commemorating the 51st Anniversary of the Assassination of The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Featuring Dr. Bernard LaFayette, Civil Rights leader, associate of Dr. King, cofounder of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, national coordinator of the 1968 Poor People's Campaign, and Breeden Scholar in Residence at the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for Arts and Humanities;  Loretta Alexander, Civil Rights leader, member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee at Jackson State College (now Jackson State University) in Jackson, Mississippi; and the Mosaic Theatre Company (MTC), a theatre group dedicated to the creation and performance of original works of theatre that investigate current issues of diversity in the hopes of crafting lifelong alliances.
