Join the Miller Writing Center and the Office of University Writing for the first session in its four-part WriteFest Thesis and Dissertation Intensive Writing Program. This series is designed to meet the needs of graduate students and undergraduate honors students who are seeking a commitment to structured writing time throughout the semester in order to work on their thesis, project, dissertation, journal article, or other writing for publication. Sessions are held August 30, September 20, October 18, and November 8. During each session, participants will be given the time, space, and resources to achieve their writing goals. Miller Writing Center consultants will be available to provide feedback, and students will have the opportunity to participate in discussion with other students about their writing projects. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required for this free event, and students must commit to attending all four workshops. Please visit the WriteFest web page for complete details and to apply for a space by August 23.
