Professor Daniel Scheeres, University of Colorado (member of National Academy of Engineering and fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the American Astronautical Society), will give a talk about the NASA-led asteroid sample return mission, OSIRIS-REx. The spacecraft is currently orbiting its target asteroid, Bennu. He will discuss the latest achievement of this mission including critical engineering and scientific findings.
