Time: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Location: ePortfolio Studio, RBD Library

This workshop clarified what is and isn’t appropriate when it comes to using sources in your academic projects and helps you think critically about what it means to use the work of others so you can make better choices and avoid unintended plagiarism. By the end of the session, you will have an understanding of the fundamental principles of paraphrasing, quoting, and attribution; have practiced specific strategies for effective paraphrasing; and have had the opportunity to apply these strategies to your own work – so bring a project to work on.
