School of Forestry & Wildlife Sciences presents its 4th Annual Career Fair, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, from 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Forestry, wildlife sciences, and natural resource-focused employers will be on hand to meet students in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Conference Hall, Room 1101, located at 602 Duncan Drive, Auburn, Ala.

The career fair event benefits all students regardless of their anticipated graduation! Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet potential employers and learn about their organizations
  • Explore careers in wildlife ecology and management, forestry, and natural resources
  • Apply for jobs and internships
  • Discover what will make them most competitive in the job market
  • Participate in mock interviews offered at the AU Career Center

A soft skills seminar and pizza dinner will be offered for students on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m., and will feature guest panelists representing various types of organizations including private industry, nongovernmental organizations and public agencies focused on the forestry, wildlife and natural resources fields. The workshop is intended to help students develop professional and interpersonal skills such as communication, team work, conflict resolution, work ethic and personal attributes of integrity, empathy, adaptability, and emotional intelligence; which are often noted as crucial for career success.

All Auburn students who are interested in natural resources-related career fields are invited to attend the career fair and seminar.
