The Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity are pleased to announce a three part series of learning opportunities related to facilitating critical conversations in learning environments. This series will feature research-based instructional strategies such as inclusive facilitation competencies, critical reflection inventories, and tools for assessing classroom climate to ensure instructors are well prepared to amplify student learning related to productive civil discourse.


In this session you will:

  • Engage and practice strategies to create and maintain inclusive classroom environments
  • Increase instructor confidence with applying research-based strategies to support diversity, inclusion, and equity
  • Create a plan for employing these research-based strategies
