The Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity are pleased to announce a three-part series of learning opportunities related to facilitating critical conversations in learning environments. This series will feature research-based instructional strategies such as inclusive facilitation competencies, critical reflection inventories, and tools for assessing classroom climate to ensure instructors are well prepared to amplify student learning related to productive civil discourse.


In this session you will:

  • Dive into tools to assess and address the classroom climate and how that relates to your perceptions
  • Explore research-based strategies and tools to assess climate in and beyond the classroom in regard to conflict and reluctance
