Understanding how to use sources effectively in your academic projects is critical to your success. This workshop clarifies what is and isn’t appropriate when it comes to using sources and helps you think critically about what it means to use the work
of others so you can make better choices and avoid unintended plagiarism. By the end of the session, you will have an understanding of the fundamental principles of paraphrasing, quoting, and attribution; have practiced specific strategies for effective paraphrasing;
and have had the opportunity to apply these strategies to your own work – so bring a project to work on. Registration is required. Click here to register
now or visit the WoW Wednesdays web page for more information.
