Celebrate the love of reading with the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center on Friday, March 2nd at 3:30 pm to honor Read Across America.  This free event for the family offers an opportunity for guests to enjoy stories read every 20 minutes at our tree house in the nature playground, by the campfire at our amphitheater, the dock at the pond or at reptile rest by community members including Lenze Morris, Miss Friendliest City, or Daisy Griffin, local author.  You can also enjoy our collection of books in the Little Free Library or explore our Story Walk which leads you down a trail to uncover each page of the book.

Hot cocoa and a warm campfire will also await you at our outdoor amphitheater.
