The public is invited to a reading by Kiese Laymon, author of How to Slowly Kill Yourself and Others in America and Long Division, on Thursday, March 29 at 6 p.m.

Named a member of the Root 100 and Ebony Magazine Power 100, Laymon's work has appeared in McSweeney's, The New York Times, Guernica, EBONY, and The Best American Series.

Co-sponsored by the Department of English, Southern
Humanities Review, Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities, and Africana Studies.

The reading is free, open to the public, and will be followed by refreshments. Books will be available for purchase and signing. The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities at Pebble Hill is located at 101 S. Debardeleben Street, Auburn.
