The Department of Music at Auburn University is excited to announce Woodwind Day 2018, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 3, in Goodwin Hall. It will include a full day devoted to woodwinds with master classes, recitals, exhibits, rehearsals, and a finale concert featuring all the participants in concert in a massive woodwind choir. Auburn University faculty members will be teaching and performing throughout the day, including Dr. Alina Windell (flute), Dr. Kristin Leitterman (double reeds), Dr. David Odom (clarinet), and Dr. Michael Pendowski (saxophone). Woodwind performers and enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels are invited to gather for this all-day celebration of everything woodwind. The events will begin at 8 a.m., and conclude at 4 p.m.

Registration fee is $20, and includes lunch for the participants. On-site registration begins at 8 a.m. Those who pre-register online by Jan. 26 will receive a discounted rate of $15.
