Members of the Auburn University community are invited to attend the first event of the Critical Conversations Lecture Series on Friday, September 1 at 4:00 in the Student Center Ballroom. The series kick-off will include a moderated discussion on the topic Ideological Differences and Free Speech on Campus between scholars Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University, and Cornel West, Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University Divinity School. Doors will open at 3:00; plan to arrive early as seating is limited. The event will be livestreamed on the Critical Conversations website: http://www.auburn.edu/academic/provost/speaker-series/.
