June 27, 2017
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Mama Mocha's Coffee Emporium

The College of Sciences and Mathematics will host The AU Science Café on Tuesday, June 27, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mama Mocha’s Coffee Emporium. The Science Café is an outreach program for the community that provides an opportunity to discuss scientific topics with an Auburn University scientist. The June event will feature Morgan Beadles, curator of the Davis Arboretum, who will present a talk titled, “Vampires, Man-eaters, and Other Botanical Oddities.” In her discussion, Beadles will shed light on a variety of bizarre, and sometimes gross, plants that share our world. The event is free and appropriate for all ages. Mama Mocha’s is located at 414 S. Gay Street. For more information, contact Josh King at 334-734-1182 or josh.king@auburn.edu.
