Ahead of the museum’s temporary closing this summer, Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is closing its permanent collection galleries to prepare for the renovation. All interior spaces will close to the public on May 8, 2017. The Susan Phillips Gardens and Lethander Art Path will remain open through the summer. The museum will re-open in early fall '17 with the September exhibition schedule and the grand opening celebration of "Out of the Box: A Juried Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition."
