“Animal biotechnology: What is it, what could it be, and will it be allowed?” will be animal geneticist Alison Van Eenennaam’s focus when she speaks on Auburn’s campus at 4 p.m. Feb. 14 as the Spring 2017 E.T. York Distinguished Lecturer. She is a Cooperative Extension specialist in the field of animal genomics and biotechnology and a researcher in the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of California, Davis. Her lecture, to be held in 113-A Lowder Hall, is sponsored by the E.T. York Distinguished Lecturer Series in the College of Agriculture and Auburn University’s Littleton-Franklin Lectures.
