Dr. Brunner will provide an overview of her recently edited book, Creating Citizens: Liberal Arts and Community & Civic Engagement in the Land-grant Tradition. Creating Citizens celebrates the current work of Auburn University’s College of Liberal Arts faculty, and makes suggestions for how others can learn from these examples. Although each of the chapters in the manuscript speaks to different types of civic and community engagement, there are several overlapping themes.
