June 22, 2016
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: 1199 Haley Center

If you, or someone you know, has difficulty hearing or clearly understanding what is being said, the Auburn University Speech & Hearing Clinic invites you to receive a free hearing screening, followed by a hearing aid seminar, on Wednesday, June 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Student Center at Auburn University’s main campus.

The hearing screening will take place at the AU Speech and Hearing clinic in the Haley Center, and then each participant will be escorted to the AU Student Center for an interactive session, which involves listening and comparing technology.
Marsha Kluesing, AuD, assistant clinical professor in the Department of Communication Disorders in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University, is overseeing this event.

“Information, provided by experts from three global hearing instrument manufacturers, may provide solutions for your hearing healthcare needs,” Dr. Kluesing said. “The results of the screening test will provide basic information regarding the most appropriate technology for the individual.”

The Auburn University Speech and Hearing Clinic, an outreach service of the College of Liberal Arts, was established in 1947 and has served the surrounding community for over 65 years. The clinic provides a full range of evaluation and treatment services for clients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
