General Lloyd Austin, an Auburn graduate and commander of United States Central Command, will give the Graduate School’s New Horizons Lecture on Monday, Feb. 29, from 3-4 p.m. in the Langdon Hall auditorium. Austin, a native of Thomasville, Georgia, was
commissioned an Infantry second lieutenant in 1975 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. He has served in a wide variety of command and staff positions throughout his 41-year military career. For more information,
