Sen. William (Billy) Beasley will present his lecture titled “Poverty and Politic in Alabama,” during the k(no)w poverty? lecture series on February 19 from noon to 1 p.m, in the Caroline Marshall Draughon Presentation Room in the Ralph Brown Draughon (RBD) Library. The k(no)w poverty? lectures are part of a series of free events open to the public, to discuss issues relevant to poverty in the community, region, state, and world, and are presented by the Honors College at Auburn University to support the Auburn University land-grant mission.
