The MCC will host Mr. Robert Thrower, a Tribal Member of the Poarch Creek Indians and a direct descendant of the Wind Clan of the Upper Creeks of Alabama. He is an ordained minister, Tribal medicine man,
certified Tribal artisan, storyteller, playwright, filmmaker, and poet. Mr. Thrower will discuss the culture and contributions of the Native Creek Indians and their importance to the formation of present day Alabama. The
Medicine Tail Singers will also perform during this event.
