On Thursday, October 22, join the staff of Auburn University’s Davis Arboretum for a workshop on native azaleas from 5 to 6 p.m. in 112 Rouse. Patrick Thompson, Davis Arboretum specialist and president
of the Alabamense Chapter of The Azalea Society of America, will share a presentation on various aspects of azaleas in the landscape, focusing primarily on native azaleas of the southeast. Participants will receive tips on selection, planting and establishment
of the classic Southern plants. Attendees will also receive information on how to participate in the Arboretum’s pre-order only, fall plant sale, which will feature new azalea varieties that will be highlighted during the workshop. For more information, contact
