While already well over 100 years old, cognitive science is gaining ground in higher education. At this Biggio Center Professional Development Seminar (PDS), participants will use a reflective exercise and interactive literature review to quickly get
up to speed with the research and translate it to meaningful learning practices in their courses. Digging in to this research gives us tools for improving teaching practice and helps amplify student learning success. Biggio Center Director Diane Boyd will
facilitate the workshop.
