In preparation for the College of Liberal Arts' annual visit to Sylacauga and its great Marble Festival, author Ruth Beaumont Cook and Italian sculptor Elena Mutinelli will give brief presentations on the history of Sylacauga marble, and the impacts of
the major sculpting achievements made by visiting Italian sculptors. The presentations will be given in the Student Center room 2107 at 2:30 p.m. on April 13, and are free and open to the public.
