Biggio Center Professional Development Seminar: Active Learning – Collaborative Learning
Participants will have the opportunity to experience active learning pedagogies, join a community of active learning proponents, and prepare for teaching in new classroom
facilities. This session will identify tools/technology needed for collaborative learning (group and team learning) in the classroom and identify resources/sources of help. Participants should bring a laptop or other smart device with them (a laptop is strongly
recommended). The seminar will be in Foy room 246 from 12:15 to 1:30 pm and facilitated by the Biggio Center’s Director Diane Boyd.
