The Auburn University/Community Orchestra presents a concert on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:30 pm in Telfair-Peet Theatre. Directed by Dr. Howard Goldstein, the orchestra will perform the overture to "The School for Scandal" by Samuel Barber; The Adventures of Robin Hood Suite by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1938; and Cello Concerto in B Minor by Antonin Dvořák, featuring soloist Andre Gaskins, principal cello of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
Advanced tickets are available online for all patrons (students and non-students) at $10 per ticket, available until the day before the event.  Patrons will need to bring one form of ID to pick up their ticket from the will-call table set up one hour before the event begins. The name on the ID must match the name on the order. If advanced tickets are not picked up by fifteen minutes prior to the event, then they may be resold for waiting patrons.
