Auburn University Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. William Powell, performs in a concert on Sunday, February 22, at 2:30 pm in Auburn First Baptist Church. This group will perform several Brazilian choral selections under the direction of guest
composer/conductor, Dr. Vladimir Silva, from the Federal University of Campina Grande in the northeastern part of Brazil. Dr. Sara Lynn Baird will also guest conduct a piece by Brazilian composer, Liduino Pitombeira.
Advanced tickets are available online for all patrons (students and non-students) at $10 per ticket, available January 19 until the weekday before the event. Patrons will need to bring one form of ID to pick up their ticket from the will-call table set
up one hour before the event begins. The name on the ID must match the name on the order. If advanced tickets are not picked up by fifteen minutes prior to the event, then they may be resold for waiting patrons.
Regular tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for students and children, and will be sold at the door one hour prior to performance time. For more information including online ticket sales, program information, and ticketing policies, visit auburn.edu/music
