Connecting Africana Studies, Human Development, and Outreach: Exploring How to Affect Change Locally and Globally”  
 
The theories and perspectives of Africana Studies can be useful to understand and improve conditions for people of African descent in the U.S. and abroad.     
 
        Dr. Adrienne Duke is an Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Auburn University and is an Extension Specialist with Alabama Cooperative Extension Systems. She is also an Africana Studies Faculty Affiliate.
