Paula Backscheider, the Philpott-Stevens Eminent Scholar in the Department of English in the College of Liberal Arts, will deliver the 2014 Distinguished Graduate Faculty Lecture “Crisis Texts: Wartime Women,” on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 3:30 p.m. in 112
