A memorial and educational program to honor Tiger, War Eagle VI, will be held Friday, Aug. 29, in Plainsman Park. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and is free. Speakers during the memorial include Auburn Athletics Director Jay
Jacobs, Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine Dean Calvin Johnson and Marianne Hudson, assistant director of raptor training and education at the Southeastern Raptor Center. A video highlight film is also planned. Immediately following the memorial program,
Hudson and raptor specialist Andrew Hopkins a will conduct Football, Fans and Feathers, a raptor show, flight demonstration, and educational program.
