April 15, 2014
Time: 5:15 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art

April 14–17, 2014 is Auburn University’s 3rd annual Research Week, a celebration of excellence in creative and scholarly research activity. Also for the third year, Auburn takes Research Week as an opportunity to release Auburn
Speaks, an annual publication of Auburn University Research addressing issues that impact life and work in our state and beyond. This year’s issue focuses on issues of food and hunger. JCSM is happy to participate by screening Pride & Joy on April 15 at 5:15 pm.

Focusing on the tradition-bearers of Southern food culture, Pride & Joy presents intimate portraits of the people and places that make the South America’s most delicious region while asking important questions about our common culture.

Tickets are free and open to the public. Advanced registration is encouraged via the museum’s program page.
