The AU Opera Workshop will present a concert on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30pm in Goodwin Recital Hall. Performers are jointly directed by music faculty Matthew Hoch, Anne Duraski, and Laurelie Gheesling. Throughout the semester, all performers study characterization, movement, artistry, stylistic interpretation, and staging; they also learn about set design and production. Students will perform Act I of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance (1879) at this concert.
