March 05, 2014
Time: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Student Center Ballroom

The School of Communication and Journalism in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University will have its 2014 Communication and Media Career Day on Wednesday, March 5.
The event will take place on campus in the Student Center ballroom. Employers will be able to interview students for internships and post-graduation employment.
The School has more than 900 majors in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations and Media Studies (formerly Radio-Television-Film).
“All of our majors are required to complete an internship before graduation, so employers should see a very strong student turnout,” School Director Jennifer Wood Adams said.
Employers will set up their tables from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Student Center ballroom. Students will browse the tables from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and sign up for interviews with employers who match their interests. Individual student interviews will take place with company representatives from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The early registration fee for employers is $150. After Feb. 7, the cost will be $200. The employer registration fee includes morning refreshments, $10 meal card to purchase lunch at the Student Center Chik-fil-A, one table and promotion on marketing materials associated with the event.
