The Honors College has adopted the theme of poverty awareness this semester and its ongoing film and lecture series is called "k(NO)w poverty?" The series continues on Monday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in Langdon Hall with a lecture
titled "The Ripple Effect of Small Actions" by Dr. Kate Thornton, Director of Hunger and Sustainability Initiatives in AU’s Hunger Solutions Institute. In this talk Thornton will talking about how the ripple effect small actions individuals take can amplify
into major change for those in poverty, both at home and abroad. All series events are open to the public. Nonperishable food donations will be accepted at this event for donation to the Campus Food Pantry. For more information, contact Ken Thomas at (334)
