Summer 2014 INFORMATION MEETING: Wednesday, February 26th 3:30-5:00 pm HALEY 2212 --Now: no previous German experience required! -- The link to the on-line application is here: https://studyabroad.auburn.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ViewProgram&Program_ID=10010 --The Course is taught in one of the great capital cities of Europe, with many cultural (music: e.g., Mozart and Beethoven! Architecture: Otto Wagner and Koloman Moser!) opportunities. Almost every academic discipline has a rich history that runs through Vienna. --Students in this program stay with host families (not dorms) and are often near public transportation to the classes. Vienna has terrific ground transportation including electric street cars and a subway. Vienna is large, but not hectic. --A student taking World Literature II will also take, as a separate course, FLGR 1020 (second semester German). Students thus need to have taken German 1010 before the summer of 2014.
