Join Dee Smith, Dennis Pinkard, Nancy Loewenstein and the KPNC staff to learn all about the importance of planting natives for birds, animals and humans and ridding our yards (and preserve) of invasive plants. Great handouts to take home and door prizes from
local nurseries will be awarded. Participants will head out after the talk to check out some of KPNC’s beautiful natives. No registration required. Canceled in the event of heavy rain.
Event is $4 for members and $5 for non-members.
This program will be held at the Louise Kreher Preserve & Nature Center unless otherwise noted. The nature center is located at 2222 N. College Street near the AU Fisheries and Hwy 280. For more information, visit
