The Honors College at Auburn University begins its k(no)w poverty? Lecture Series on January 22 in Haley 2370 at 6 pm. This is the first event to take place in a series of free lectures that are
open to the community and will discuss issues relevant to poverty in the community, region, state and world. The lecture will kick off with Michael Lynch, MBA and Managing Director/Director of External Relations
of Project Horseshoe Farm in Greensboro, AL who will speak on “Poverty In The Black Belt: A Complex Issue And A Grassroots Initiative To Help Support Vulnerable Members Of The Community.” Participants are asked to bring non-perishable
food items for the Campus Food Pantry.
