October 03, 2013
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Location: Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art

An Auburn voice professor, Matthew Hoch returns to A Little Lunch Music with Vanderbilt’s Ben Harris on piano to present a program of songs from the Romantic and Impressionist periods. Robert Schumann’s Leiderkreiss sets to music Joseph Eichendorff’s poetry. Two song cycles by Maurice Ravel reveal the composer’s sense of humor.

A Little Lunch Music is an informal performance coordinated by Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art and musician Patrick McCurry. You can sit and listen to the entire performance in the Martin-Perricone Auditorium, dine in the Museum Cafe from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, browse the shop, or explore the galleries. Admission is free courtesy of JCSM business partners.
Plan your visit at www.jcsm.auburn.edu.
Next Thursday, October 10, listen to soprano Kelly Marcades with pianist Daniel Windsor.
