Description of the Event: The 7th annual Creepy Wonderful Critters program will be held this Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve. This years program will be presented by Mike Wines, A. U. graduate student in herpetology on Venomous Snakes. Enjoy an entertaining program by this former zoo keeper on the venomous snakes of Alabama. Learn to recognize a venomous snake and what to do if bitten. There will be lots of other creepy wonderful critters to look at and hold including non-venomous snakes, lizards, and insects. Admission is $4 for non-members and $3 for members. Children 3 and under are free. The Kreher Preserve is located at 2222 North College Street near the AU Fisheries.
