A panel of philosophy students and faculty members will discuss "Sophistry," particularly the relation between logic and rhetoric, the difference between persuasion and proof, and whether the sophist is necessarily full of nonsense.
The meeting will take place this Wednesday, October 23rd, at 5 p.m. at Mama Mocha's II (124 Tichenor Ave)
The event is free and open to the public.
