The Community and Civic Engagement initiative in the College of Liberal Arts presents a unique experience for pre-law and CCE students interested in learning about the American Judiciary experience. Federal court judge W. Keith Watkins will host the students
and trial lawyers in the Federal Courthouse in Montgomery where they will witness a U.S. Naturalization ceremony, have a roundtable luncheon with the invited attorneys, and visit some of the historic sites Montgomery has to offer. The Auburn University Mock
Trial Team will also have a scrimmage and present their case to the Judge Watkins and other dignitaries.
This is a civic engagement collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and the United States Court for the Middle District of Alabama.
