Join us for the 4th Annual Auburn Writers Conference’s Artful Crossroads: Where the Arts Intersect, on October 18 & 19th in Auburn, Alabama. We will come together and talk not only about craft and publishing, but about the ways in which our words reflect other forms of art. For some, it will be in the creation of characters who happen to be artists, for others, it might be the fusing of literature with another kind of artistic expression such as music, or visual art, or performance.

Schedule for Friday, October 18:
  • 7:30 am – 8:00 am: Registration and Coffee
  • 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Keynote by Cristina Garcia (Open to Public)
  • 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Break and Book Signing by Cristina Garcia
  • 9:30 am – 11:00 am: Workshop 1
  • 11:00 am – 11:15 am: Break
  • 11:30 am – 12:30 am: Author Readings
  • 12:30 am – 1:30 pm: Lunch
  • 1:45 pm – 3:15 pm: Workshop 2
  • 3:15 pm – 3:45 pm: Break and Book Signings
  • 3:45 pm – 5:00 pm: Creative Submission Readings
  • 5- 6 p.m., a tribute to best-selling author Anne Rivers Siddons in the auditorium of the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. The tribute is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University and is free and open to the public.
Registration Policy
  • The deadline for registration and receipt of payment is October 7, 2013.
  • If you are unable to attend and would like a refund of your registration fee, please contact Nancy Griggs.
  • A full refund will be issued prior to August 26, 2013. A 50% refund will be issued between August 26 and September 30. No refunds will be issued after September 30.
