The College of Liberal Arts is sponsoring a tribute to Auburn University alumna and best-selling novelist Anne Rivers Siddons  on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center.
 
The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Reads book, “Heartbreak Hotel” – which take place at Auburn University in 1956, and is written by A.R. Siddons, has been the focus all semester as the college explores issues of race, gender, and romance through its CLA Reads program.
 
The tribute and all CLA Reads events are free and open to the public.
 
CLA Reads is sponsored by Community and Civic Engagement, Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Women’s Leadership Institute, and the Women’s Studies Program – all in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University.
