Interior architecture student exhibit now open in Dudley Gallery
Third- and fourth-year interior architecture students in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture have mounted an exhibit cataloging design possibilities for the Atlanta Central Library. Commissioned in the late 1960s but not completed until 1980, the iconic downtown library is the final building by celebrated modern architect Marcel Breuer. Using Breuer's work as a guide, the studio led by Kevin Moore and Nathan Foust has reimagined the expansive public interior by developing meaningful lighting and acoustic variety. The exhibit is in Dudley Gallery and is open to the public weekdays from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. until Sept. 30. For more information, go to this website.
