Architecture Fall 2013 Lecture Series begins Sept. 30
The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture Fall Lecture Series, titled "Renegades + Outlaws: Design Thinking at the Edge," begins Monday, Sept. 30, with a free, public lecture by Carlos Jiménez. Jiménez is principal and lead designer at Carlos Jiménez Studio, an award-winning, internationally recognized firm in Houston. A professor at the Rice University School of Architecture, Jiménez has served as a lecturer, juror and visiting critic at academic institutions in the U.S. and around the world. His lecture, "Reflections and Recent Works," will be in B6 auditorium in Dudley Commons at 3:30 p.m. The APLA lecture series is supported by practicing architects, planners and landscape architects in the state of Alabama.
