Please join the College of Liberal Arts, as well as students, faculty, and community members on Tuesday September 17th to commemorate the 226thanniversary of the U.S. Constitution.
Beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17th in the Student Center, room 2222, there will be a discussion the Importance of the Constitution in the 21st Century. This event is free and open to the public.  The Honorable Todd J. Campbell, judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, will give a lecture entitled, “The Constitution and Conventional Wisdom: It May Not Be What You Think It Is.”  Campbell was appointed in 1995 after serving as counsel to the Vice President of the United States. He has presided over thousands of cases in his nearly 20 years on the bench.
This event is being sponsored by the Departments of History and Political Science in the College of Liberal Arts, and the Auburn University Provost Office.
